It’s evident from the data that Reels is an Instagram feature that captures a younger audience. According to GWI data, 16-34 year-olds are heavy users of Instagram Reels. About 30% of users are from the ages of 16-24 and the other 30% is from the age group of 25-34. Ages 35-44 are about 22% of the users on Reels with ages 45-54 12% and lastly 55-64 make up for 5% of users.

Reels users have a high propensity to be fashion conscious, money-driven, and career-focused. They have the lowest propensity to be price-conscious and traditional. Given the age range for the user being 16- 24 years old, we found that these descriptions are in line with the users.
