Why Social Networks Need to Be Part of Your Holiday Sales Strategy

We’re just two weeks away from the biggest shopping push of the year. Convenient, GlobalWebIndex just released some fascinating stats around product research on social platforms.

According to the study, 37% of internet users use social networks to research products and brands. That’s a large leap from the 28% back in 2015. Among 16-24-year-olds, social networks are now just 6 percentage points behind search engines for product research.

This information, combined with the 52% of internet users who say they purchase via mobile devices, proves we’re just getting started with bringing purchases inside social networks.
