Ignite Social Media looking to hire 40 to support Chrysler, other accounts

As we proudly add Chrysler Group LLC to our roster of accounts, we’re rapidly filling some 40+ positions across account service, metrics/monitoring, community management/engagement, art direction, copywriting, web development/programming and more. Experience with automotive marketing is a plus.

While most of these new positions will be staffed out of our Detroit office, we have many openings in our Raleigh headquarters as well.

The vast majority of these jobs will be filled by October 1, so move quickly if you’re interested in working on social media marketing for some of the world’s best brands. Listed after each job is the expected office location for that job and the bullet points describe minimum qualifications. Instructions on how to apply are at the end of the post.


Strategist/Analyst (4): 2 Raleigh; 2 Raleigh or Detroit

  • Strong knowledge of social media best practices (and worst practices)
  • Experience marketing small, medium or large brands
  • Proficient understanding of audience targeting/messaging
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Understanding of how business objectives translate into marketing objectives to drive ROI

Account Supervisor (2): Detroit

  • 4-8 years agency-side account (or project) management expertise
  • Strong understanding of social media space
  • Strong communications skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience marketing large brands
  • Knowledge and experience maintaining budgets and timelines
  • Analytical ability and sound problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage client expectations with internal resources
  • Ability to work with and manage vendors and other outside resources

Account Manager (2): Detroit

  • 3-5 years agency-side account (or project) management expertise
  • Understanding of social media space
  • Strong communications skills (written and verbal)
  • Knowledge and experience maintaining budgets and timelines
  • Analytical ability and sound problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage client expectations with internal resources

Account Coordinator (5): Detroit

  • 2-4 years account (or project) management expertise
  • Understanding of social media space

Sr Interactive Designer (1): Detroit

  • 7+ years marketing experience
  • Designers must have proven ability to provide innovative design while maintaining integrity of brand guidelines
  • Strong knowledge of designing for web (Twitter, Facebook, mobile, blog design, YouTube, etc.)
  • Ability to follow a wireframe for content design
  • Ability to lead a project from Kickoff to production (with assistance from team leader)
  • Organizational skills – able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional Photoshop skills
  • Adequate InDesign and Illustrator skills
  • Flash is a plus
  • Proven leaderhsip qualities
  • Knowledgeable of platforms, websites, social media space

Interactive Designer (3): 2 in Detroit; 1 in Raleigh

  • 2-4 years marketing experience
  • Must have proven ability to provide innovative design while maintaining integrity of brand guidelines
  • Ability to following creative direction from a team leader or senior designer
  • Able to work with a writer to collaborate on a final design
  • Strong knowledge of designing for web (Twitter, Facebook, mobile, etc.)
  • Ability to design for various audience types in ways that drive positive actions
  • Photoshop a MUST

Copywriter (2): 1 in Detroit; 1 in Raleigh

  • 2 years minimum experience in marketing (social preferred)
  • Able to follow a wireframe for content design
  • Must have proven ability to communicate within brand voice
  • Strong knowledge of writing for web (Twitter, Facebook, mobile, etc.)
  • Experience with web writing for search engine optimization
  • Familiarity with multiple CMS platforms
  • Working knowledge of HTML (CSS a plus)
  • Organizational skills – able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • SEO/SMO copywriting
  • Creative and strategic thinker
  • Understanding of, and participation in, various social channels
  • Travel to cover live events through blogging, updates and simple video expected

 

Jr Copywriter (1): Detroit

  • Must have proven ability to communicate within brand voice
  • Strong knowledge of writing for web (Twitter, Facebook, mobile, etc.)
  • Experience with web writing for search engine optimization
  • Ability to speak to various audience types in ways that drive positive actions

Sr. Web Developer (1): Detroit

  • 4+ years experience
  • Expert knowledge of HTML5, Javascript, AJAX, PHP, XML, JSON, MySQL, and social network/third-party APIs
  • Working knowledge of CSS3, MongoDB, Node.js, Redis, Ruby, web development frameworks, content management systems, and mobile development frameworks
  • Proven experience guiding teams in fast-paced environments
  • Experience working with SSH and SFTP
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Web Developer (4): 2 in Detroit; 2 either Detroit or Raleigh

  • 1 year minimum experience
  • Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS AND PHP
  • Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, Ruby and Photoshop
  • Knowledge of WordPress and other content management systems
  • Experience working with SSH amd SFTP
  • Familiarity with various social media APIs, including Facebook, Twitter, etc

 

Community Engagement Specialist (5): 4 Detroit; 1 Raleigh

  • Extensive knowledge of social channels (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
  • Ability to develop targeted blog rolls
  • Very strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Social Media engagement experience, such as a Community Manager
  • Proven background using social media as a marketing tool
  • Strong research and analytic skills to back up data-driven business decisions

 

 

 

Community Outreach Specialist/Contest Supervisor (1): Detroit

  • Extensive knowledge of how contest and sweepstakes work online and within social channels (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
  • Strong ability to manage contests and sweepstakes
  • Understanding of various state and country requirements for contests and sweepstakes
  • Experience performing blog outreach programs for brands
  • Very strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Social Media engagement experience, such as Community Manager, blogger relations, digital PR
  • Proven background using social media as a marketing tool

Sr. Metrics Specialist (1): Detroit
