Web Trends Talks Social Media Marketing with Jim Tobin

Brandon Prebynski recently sat down with our very own Jim Tobin to chat about Social Media Marketing on his show Web Trends. Jim and Brandon discuss Ignite Social Media’s conception, the creation of Social Media is a Cocktail Party, measuring ROI, convincing clients of social media marketing and more. The show is a great opportunity to get a little insight into the way our company operates and thinks, so if you’re one of the millions of people applying for a job here, it might give you a crash course in what we do.

If you take away anything from this interview, I personally hope it will be that you or your brand will do what it needs to do in the social space in order to “add value to the community and be interesting.”

    Thanks for sharing this video Jeremy. Found this interview truly educational and further useful especially after my visit! 🙂 Undoubtedly, the exciting part about social media marketing is the paradigm shift in the way of thinking and communicating about brands these days. The fluidity and dynamism of collective conversations is what makes or breaks a brand these days vs. a one size fits all mentality. My favorite takeaway was when Jim joked about the skepticism of some self proclaimed social media experts after spending few hours on twitter!
