Short version: we’re the team that turns your brand’s social presence into a real business channel. Strategy, content, community management, influencer marketing, paid social, and reporting, all working together instead of living in silos. Ignite Social Media is the first social media agency in the United States, so we’ve been through more platform pivots and algorithm shakeups than anyone.
We are a dedicated social media agency founded in 2007, built to be an extension of your team. Founded in 2007, we’ve spent nearly two decades learning how to keep up in a space that is continually changing. That constant learning is exactly what lets us help brands stay relevant and take full advantage of what social has to offer today, not just what worked when we started.
Both, and honestly, we think that’s a strength. Our client roster spans well over 150 brands, from consumer names like Dell, IKEA, Gillette, Jeep, and Samsung to B2B and industrial players like Eaton, CGI, Hitachi Vantara, and Lenovo’s enterprise lines. We work across tech, food & beverage, automotive, health & beauty, retail, travel, and nonprofit sectors. That range means we bring a genuinely cross-industry perspective to every strategy, not a one-vertical playbook stretched to fit.
Rather than employing generalists trying to cover everything, we’ve built a team-circle approach to service our varied client needs. We’ve staffed specialists in all the disciplines best-in-class social media requires (strategy, content, community management, influencer marketing, paid, analytics), which allows us to be a true extension of our client’s team. On average, our clients notice a 57% increase in average monthly impressions and 132% increase in engagements after our strategies are implemented. We’ve also built over 14 proprietary social media value models to further demonstrate the impact and value of social efforts on business results (and counting).
Not usually, and we’re upfront about that. We’re built for national and global brands that need social strategy to scale across markets, audiences, and platforms, not a single-location marketing push. If you’re a local business, there are great local-marketing shops out there; if you’re a national or global brand (or trying to become one), that’s exactly our lane. If you’re a regional player, contact us to see if we’re a fit.
We think of ourselves as an extension of your team, not another vendor competing for the same slice of work. Every brand’s setup looks different (you might have a dedicated in-house social team, one person in marketing wearing the social hat, or a roster of outside agencies), and we’ve worked inside all of those constructs, plugging in wherever there’s a gap in strategy, content, or community management rather than duplicating what’s already being handled well.
Yes. We learned early on that influencer work is its own discipline, with its own creative approach, measurement, and relationships, so rather than bolt it on as an afterthought, we built out a dedicated arm of the agency for it: Carusele, launched in 2015. Over the years, we’ve run it both as a standalone influencer program and fully integrated into a brand’s owned social, so influencer content and always-on social work as one connected strategy instead of two separate efforts.
Yes. Organic content creation is very much still a core discipline for us, not an afterthought to paid. That includes content built to feel native to each specific channel, active inbound and outbound engagement, trend identification with quick-turn content to match, our Organish™ approach to media buying that boosts visibility of organic content, and measurement models that show the real business value organic is driving. That said, we also have a dedicated paid team building performance-based social plans. Which discipline leads depends on the strategy and sometimes on how your organization itself is structured.
Our community management team specializes in discovering and engaging with reactive and proactive engagement opportunities. At the onset of our relationship we will ensure community guidelines are developed and/or updated, including escalation protocols for crisis communication. Depending on the volume and nature of the crisis, our team will carry this out as part of our existing community management services or add additional monitoring and engagement to meet the individual needs of the crises.
Yes, paid social is a core discipline for us, not an add-on tacked onto organic work. Our paid team builds media plans engineered around real business outcomes, whether that’s driving qualified leads, ecommerce sales, or lower-funnel conversions. Using platform-native ad formats, our media team works closely with our analytics team to ensure your first-party data, sales data, and CRM tools are connected to your social platforms, with continuous optimization to make sure spend is working as hard as possible toward the results that matter to your business.
Ready to Put Social to Work for Your Brand?
The original social media agency. Social First. Social Only.
Look past follower-count case studies and ask about tenure, staffing model, and whether the agency has actually worked at your scale; those things predict performance far better than a flashy reel. Ignite Social Media has focused exclusively on social strategy for national and global brands since 2007, which is a track record most competitors simply haven’t had time to build.
We’ve been exploring and testing AI use in social media since 2023 and aren’t slowing. Increasingly, AI is being integrated into social platforms and related tools helping drive efficiencies in areas such as content editing/post production, brand-safety screenings, community management filtering and response variation, reporting, and paid social (through tools like Advantage+). We also have a full range of AI capabilities in content production, though audience pushback on AI generated asset creation is still a consideration that limits this use.
We work across the full channel landscape with a social-first mindset, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Threads, Pinterest, and Reddit because the right platform mix depends entirely on your brand and audience, not a one-size-fits-all channel list. We also meet directly with platform reps once or twice a week to stay ahead of new features and trends, which often gets us early access to alphas and betas before they’re publicly available, so our clients are testing new offerings while other brands are still waiting for the rollout.
Yes. We’ve worked with ecommerce brands, retail brands, and considered-purchase brands to connect social activity directly to revenue outcomes, not just engagement metrics. Depending on the brand and sales model, that’s shown through lead generation tied to CRM data, sales lift studies, awareness and purchase intent studies among people exposed to a campaign, and value models that quantify social’s connection to sales. Our paid and analytics teams integrate all of this into one full-funnel performance story instead of a report that stops at social metrics. Check out our Case Studies for more.
You own all the content you hire us to create from our in-house team or UGC network. For influencer content, our goal is to negotiate rights in perpetuity, and we get that more than 95% of the time. All exceptions would be approved by you in advance.
Most clients have a monthly reporting cadence that is replaced by more in-depth quarterly reports. Reporting cycles (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and report formats are typically customized for each client by our team of analysts who compile native channel data from various social channels and include insights and performance to agreed upon KPIs.
Ignite Social Media works on a fixed-fee model, priced around the specific number and scope of services your brand needs rather than a one-size-fits-all retainer. Engagements start at a minimum of $8,000 per month, though most of our national and global brand partners invest well beyond that to support the multi-platform, always-on programs this level of work requires. The best way to get real numbers for your specific goals is through our contact form, and someone from our team will follow up to scope it out with you.
Most of our full-service contracts are a year in duration, with most of our clients renewing after the first year. This said, we do have services like social media audits/strategies and influencer programs that are project-based and do not require a long-term contract. These are great places to start to see how we work before signing an annual commitment.
Most engagements start with strategy: an audit of what’s working and what isn’t, paired with collaborative planning sessions where we dig into the bigger-picture questions a brand has about getting the most out of social and build buy-in across stakeholders along the way. From there, what our ongoing support looks like varies brand to brand, shaped by the internal resources a client already has and any other agency partners already in the mix.
Our audits and strategies typically take 6 to 8 weeks to complete following the discovery sessions. Once tactical execution begins, we usually start seeing an impact in reporting within a minimum of 3 months.
