Top 5 Features That Should Be Included in the New Twitter Analytics Dashboard
Ryan Sweeney | November 19, 2010 | View Comments
The Social Sphere is a buzz (pun somewhat intended) about the imminent release of Twitter Analytics. We’ve only been waiting over two years for Twitter Analytics so it better be up to snuff. The best thing about Twitter Analytics will be data straight from the source. Some predicted features include: a display of successful tweets, what tweets caused people to follow or unfollow your account, a Klout-like reputation score, lolcats attached to every update, and a free foot massage. I’ll believe it all when I see it.

Review of TwitterMom’s Seal of Approval
Lisa Braziel | September 22, 2010 | View Comments
Part of what we do at Ignite is engage with target audiences on behalf of brands, primarily through blog outreach. So when I heard that TwitterMoms has set out to create the first “social seal of approval” by engaging with moms – I got really excited and dove into learning about what it is and how it functions. In the following sections, I’ll relay an overview of how this new outreach opportunity works, as well as what I personally feel works about the program and what doesn’t work about the program (as it is now).

Recently, using social media for charities and non-profits has been the conversation topic du jor, due in no small part to the massively successful text donation campaign for Haiti implemented by The Red Cross. Social media for non-profits and causes has been steadily evolving in both effective and creative ways because social channels are a natural way to disseminate information. How Twitter Can Make You a Better Writer
Jeremy S. Griffin | May 08, 2009 | View Comments
Creative writing has made me a better copywriter, and copy writing has made me a better creative writer. You might be asking, “what’s the difference?” and believe me, there are plenty of similarities, as both require creativity— but they are very different beasts altogether. Nonetheless, the skills you use to be creative and the ones you use in order to effectively communicate ideas often go hand-in-hand, and there are ways to develop both at the same time.

DIY: How To Find Authoritative Twitter Users Plus 100 To Get You Started

There are a ton of Twitter sites aiming to attach a Twitter rank to a user profile, and frankly most of them are spotty at best. Twitter is on the rise. There’s no doubt about it, and it will continue to rise. One of the things about Twitter that makes it such an attractive service is the variable nature of ways it can be used. Managing Twitter Accounts for Companies
Olivia Hayes | April 09, 2009 | View Comments
>At the behest of @influxed and @ashtonmae, I decided to do a brief round up of some best practices when managing the Twitter account for a company. With all the Facebook news as of late, it appears that Twitter thought they would join the user interface changing game as well. Select users are now able to see twitter search directly at the top of their profile pages. Along with that you have the ability to see trends via a drop down menu.

Twitoria Highlights Inactive Twitter Followers
Olivia Hayes | March 03, 2009 | View Comments
We have a lot of conversations in the office about Twitter followers. We talk about the follow/following ratio, and the delicate balance there in. We talk about the concept of the auto-follow, and whether we support it or not. We talk about who we’re following and why. And we have many soul-searching, lunchtime conversations about the quality of the content we’re tweeting out; our noise, if you will. Is it relevant and interesting? Are we adding value to the Twitter-sphere, or are we just tweeting to hear ourselves tweet?
