Top 50 Branded Facebook Fan Pages – May 2012 – Target, Hello Kitty Surge

Pages for Target and Hello Kitty led the charge for growth of the 50 largest branded Facebook fan pages in May of this year. Both brands grew over 10%, while the average growth was a very modest 3%. There were lots of changes this month, as more than 15 pages fell in the rankings from last month.


Fastest Growing Branded Facebook Fan Pages

The fastest growing pages this month include:

  1. Target, up 14% by adding over 2.5m fans;
  2. Hello Kitty, entering the Top 50 because of their 10% growth;
  3. Subway, up 8%;
  4. Nike Football, up 6%; and
  5. McDonalds, Monster Energy, Walmart, Levi’s and Mozilla Firefox all up 5%.

Biggest Losers

The pages that fell the most this month include Firefox’s big competitor. They are:

  1. Dr. Pepper, down 3 spots to #31;
  2. Victoria’s Secret Pink, down 3 spots to #32;
  3. Burberry, down 2 spots to #27;
  4. Google Chrome, down 2 spots to #29; and
  5. Skype, down 2 spots to #49.
