Megan Carriker
Executive Assistant
Megan grew up in a small town in NC. So small, in fact, that social media wasn't just a luxury -- it was a necessity to stay connected to the world beyond the 8,000. Megan believes social media allows communities to form and flourish across the globe, as well as connect relevant ideas, products and events to the right people. She loves it.
Megan assists Cap'n Jim Tobin with his day-to-day affairs, but also serves as an all-around organizational whirlwind in Ignite's Raleigh office. Her experience helping companies "do social media" as well as being an early adopter to many social networking platforms make Megan a crazy-good fit for Ignite.
A hardcore geeky gamer, Megan also enjoys playing tennis, watching TV online, and not feeding her cat cheezburgers. She also spent time studying abroad in China and Singapore, and speaks Chinese as fluently as any 2nd or 3rd grader. You can be her friend, but only if you have an offering of chocolate.
