From Flickr to Twitter, Lisa helps companies translate social media tools into social media campaigns that reach customers and build brand advocates.
As Ignite’s Community Engagement Director, Lisa has guided the implementation and strategy for national social media campaigns for Intel, Nature Made, UAW, and Comcast cable. In this role, Lisa crunches the numbers, developing campaign outreach strategies and metrics to coincide.

Her most recent accomplish has been co-authoring the book, Social Media is a Cocktail Party, where she provides the insight she has learned in this role. Additionally, her content has repeatedly hit the front page of WebProNews, established her as a “most read author” on Social Media Today, and repeatedly gained coverage on social media bookmarking sites.
Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Appalachian State University. As an advertising major and marketing minor, Lisa initially worked for Brogan & Partners Convergence Marketing, where she picked up expertise in project management and marketing. She then became employee number one at Ignite Social Media, where she moved from all aspects of social media marketing to specializing in developing overall engagement plans for outreach.
When she’s not discovering the latest social media sites and applying these for clients, Lisa likes to visit the mountains of North Carolina, try out new recipes, and explore the city of Raleigh.
