Brian Friedlander

A San Francisco transplant, Brian was pleasantly surprised to discover an enthusiastic social media community in North Carolina. As a Project Manager at Ignite, he works with our developers to shape projects and launch products on time and on budget.

Brian joined Ignite Social Media fresh from his 1,000 mile hike on the Pacific Crest Trail where he managed to blog and post photos and videos from everyday on his three month journey. Before he hit the trail, Brian managed a small team responsible for bringing Artificial Intelligence to virtual worlds at The Electric Sheep Company. And, prior to his work in the virtual world space, Brian spent three years at a financial consulting firm developing his project management and strategy development skills.

Brian earned his B.S. in Management Science at U.C. San Diego, and furthered his project management expertise at U.C. Berkeley.
